Dyno-Tuned Linear Turbo Performance

I-BOOST2 fine-tunes the turbo boost intervention timing and gain signals to achieve linear turbo performance release, offering a wider torque range and extended horsepower. Especially suited for new vehicles that cannot be internally tuned and for quick upgrades of lightly modified power. It uses overboost release and load auto-correction technologies, retaining factory protection while perfectly integrating with the original ECU. Through extensive dyno testing by the Shadow engineering team, it offers four driving modes: Normal (Factory), Street, Sport, and Race, ensuring power is increased within a safe range.

Vehicle-Specific Plug-and-Play Installation

I-BOOST2 features a vehicle-specific plug-and-play harness, requiring no hardware changes or ECU reprogramming. It leaves no reprogramming traces during use, and can be easily removed and restored to original state without affecting the factory warranty. Compared to its predecessor, it uses a higher-spec MCU with a miniaturized main unit and an aluminum alloy casing with full water resistance, paired with a vehicle-grade waterproof harness for quick plug-and-play installation.

Tangible Power Enhancement, No Warranty Impact

The Shadow engineering team emphasizes data-driven development, using dynamometers and road tests for extensive data logging to ensure the engine operates stably under various loads, avoiding knock and air-fuel ratio deviations. I-BOOST2 strictly adheres to safety principles, operating under the factory protection mechanism without ECU reprogramming. Its plug-and-play design is developed for a wide range of European, American, and Japanese models — no wire cutting, no ECU rewriting, no warning lights.

Which cars can use the I-BOOST 2?

I-BOOST 2 is built for small-displacement turbocharged engines, with model-specific harnesses. Check your car in the vehicle search on this site — if it's not listed, contact us at info@autojaw.com; development for new models is ongoing.

My ECU is already remapped. Can I still install it?

We don't recommend combining the two. I-BOOST 2's settings are matched to the stock ECU — stacking it on a remapped ECU risks overboosting and engine damage. One or the other.

Will it harm the engine or gearbox?

I-BOOST 2 fine-tunes sensor signal feedback only — it doesn't rewrite the ECU, and its gain range operates within the factory protection mechanisms.

Tuning box vs. ECU remap — how do I choose?

Tuning box: quick install, warranty-friendly, moderate gains because factory protections stay untouched. ECU remap: larger gains, but flashing carries risk and a flash record can void your warranty. If this is your first step into tuning, the box is the safer place to start.

Does installing it void my warranty?

Installation is completely non-destructive. If a warranty visit comes up, remove the harness and the car is back to stock.

What driving modes are there?

Four power modes: Normal (stock), Street, Sport, and Race. Switch anytime to match your mood and the road.

Can I install it myself?

Yes, though some sensor connectors sit in hidden spots — you may need to jack up the car or remove nearby components. Difficulty varies by vehicle; if in doubt, a shop will make quick work of it.

I've modified my intake/exhaust. Do I need a reprogram?

No reflash needed — I-BOOST 2 actively fine-tunes and learns to adapt to intake and exhaust changes. For major modifications or special setups, contact us for a tailored program.
