Standard OBDII gauges are easy to install, but the data they can access is ultimately constrained by the factory ECU's design. To solve this, the FD EVO introduces S-EXPAND sensor expansion technology, pushing past those built-in boundaries.

Shadow's dual-system integration design seamlessly merges factory ECU data with readings from external sensors, all displayed together on a single ultra-slim screen. When an external sensor is connected, the FD EVO automatically uses a "CH" indicator to clearly distinguish between digital ECU signals and analog sensor data, so there's never any confusion about where a reading is coming from.
